About BarCamp Hua Hin
BarCamp Hua Hin is a collaboration between local organizers and The Hub Hua Hin, created as a more participatory alternative to traditional conferences.
The first BarCamp @ The Hub Hua Hin kicks off in November 2025 and aims to become a monthly ritual for the local (and visiting) creative and tech community, a place to learn from experienced professionals and curious peers, to bring half-baked ideas and bold experiments, and to ask questions you can't ask anywhere else.

High-energy, low-ego, and welcoming to both new and experienced voices.
The Hub Hua Hin is a dynamic co-working space in Hin Lek Fai, Hua Hin, designed for entrepreneurs, remote workers, creatives, and juniors who want a healthy balance of focus and play.
Surrounded by greenery and close to sports and leisure facilities, it blends productive workspaces with a relaxed, social vibe, making it a natural venue partner for BarCamp's talks, workshops, and hallway conversations.

How it works
BarCamp is a community-built "unconference" where the schedule is created by the people who show up.
It's not a rigid, top-down conference. BarCamp flips the script: anyone can pitch a session, host a workshop, or start a conversation. The board fills up with ideas on the day, and people drift between sessions that spark their curiosity.
You might jump from a lightning talk about AI tools, to a roundtable on remote work, to a hands-on demo of someone's side project. It's lightweight, experimental, and built for people who love to share, learn, and connect.
1. Pitch it. Add your idea to the board: a topic you care about, a workshop you want to run, or a problem you want to jam on.
2. People join. Attendees pick the sessions they're most excited about and move between rooms freely.
3. Create together. Take notes, swap contacts, sketch ideas, and spin up collaborations that continue after the event.

Community
BarCamp is more than an event. It's a loose, friendly crew you'll keep bumping into around Hua Hin and online.
Some people come to test talks. Some to find co-founders. Some just sit in the back, absorb ideas, and meet one or two new people at a time. All of that is welcome.

What the group feels like
People share demos and experiments, not only polished keynotes, and talk openly about what worked and what did not.
Most sessions feel more like focused conversations than performances, with plenty of time for questions and follow-up chats during breaks.
Your first time?
Come say hi at check-in, or just grab a seat in any session that sounds interesting. There is no expectation to speak if you do not want to.
Leaving with a single new idea or one new connection already counts as a good BarCamp.
